Getting started
Are the tools free, and do I need an account?
This version is free to use and has no registration, subscription or checkout. Choose a tool from the All Tools menu, enter the requested details and calculate your result.
Will my plan be saved?
No. Inputs and results are not saved by this website. Leaving or reloading a page can clear your work. Keep your own copy, and use the packing checklist’s print option if you want a paper copy or a PDF through your browser.
Does RoamCircuit use live travel information?
No. Prices, fuel rates, baggage allowances and departure details come from what you enter. The tools do not check weather, entry rules, airline policies or timetable changes.
Costs and currencies
Does selecting a currency convert my amounts?
No. The currency is a label, not an exchange-rate converter. Convert costs separately if necessary and enter all amounts in the same currency.
Should the budget inputs be per person or for everyone?
Transport, accommodation and extras are totals for the whole group. Food is the whole group’s daily amount. The calculator multiplies daily food by trip days, adds the other costs and then applies your contingency percentage. It also divides the final total by the number of travellers.
What does the fuel estimate include?
Fuel only. It divides total kilometres by kilometres per litre, then multiplies the estimated litres by the fuel price you enter. Include return travel and planned detours in your distance. Tolls, parking and vehicle wear are not included.
Can the expense splitter settle a whole group’s payments?
No. It splits one bill equally, including an optional service charge or tip, then compares one person’s share with the amount they already paid. It does not reconcile everybody’s payments or generate a full settlement plan.
Packing and departure
Is the packing checklist complete for every destination?
No. It is a suggested starting list based on trip length, weather and travel style. Adjust it for your activities, personal needs, destination rules and laundry plans. Verify documents and medication requirements separately.
Does the luggage checker know my airline’s allowance?
No. Enter the allowance from your own ticket or airline. The tool sums the categories you enter, including the empty bag. It does not check dimensions, per-bag rules, cabin limits, prohibited items or fees.
Which timezone does the departure planner use?
Enter departure-location local time. All calculated milestones use that same local time; no conversion between your home timezone and the departure location is performed. It does not track live delays, gate closing times or traffic.
Technical help and privacy
Why is a form not calculating?
Complete every required field and check minimum values. Traveller counts must be positive whole numbers; fuel efficiency and baggage allowance must be greater than zero. Use a current browser with JavaScript enabled. If the page is unresponsive, save anything you need before reloading.
Do I need to enter personal information?
No. The calculators need planning numbers and preferences, not your identity or payment details. The RoamCircuit toolkit contains no analytics or advertising scripts; WordPress and other installed plugins may have separate behavior. Your hosting connection is a separate matter; see the Privacy Policy for the distinction.
