How the split works
Each recorded expense is shared equally by all listed travelers, including its payer. The tool calculates paid minus owed and matches people who owe money with people who should receive it. Amounts are rounded to two decimal places; any leftover cents are assigned in traveler order.
One currency only. This version does not support unequal shares, subsets of travelers or automatic currency conversion. Suggested transfers are not actual payments.
